Lab Policies

Below are all official policies of the iCPS Lab. Here is the list of all pages in the Policy category.

• The Lab Manual (PDF) is the main handbook of all general policies of the lab. All lab members, especially new members, must read, understand, and follow the policies in the Lab Manual. Current lab members should refer to the manual whenever they have any policy questions.
• The Mentoring Plan and Expectations for Graduate Students (PDF) specifies the expectations for graduate students, in addition to those in the Lab Manual above, including publication requirements. Last update: November 13, 2025.
• Lab Policy on Authorship and First Authorship: policy related to authorship and first authorship on publications.
• Lab Policy on AI Use: policy related to use of AI in research.
• Lab Guidelines for LaTeX: guidelines on writing papers / documents in LaTeX, especially for collaborative work.
• Lab Guidelines for Graphics in Publications: guidelines on creating high-quality graphics for publications, particularly for LaTeX.
